The Douglas Anderson School of the Arts School Advisory Council (SAC) serves to assist in the preparation and evaluation of the School Improvement Plan, and to assist in the preparation of educational improvement proposals for implementing an educational improvement grant. The SAC is made up of parents, students, school faculty, school administration and community members.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 in the DA Media Center. While SAC members are selected by their respective groups at the beginning of each school year, visitors are always welcome to attend monthly meetings.
